Dear friends, Apologies for the slightly low image quality, but I couldn’t wait to introduce you to my newest painting. It will be drying here at home for a few more days, after which it will be moved to the wine shop at Kattesundet 10 to finish drying.

The Blessing (La Benedizione)

There was something divine about her face, a light that no human hand could recreate. In this reserved being, where even the wooden floor beneath her feet seems to transform into piano keys to accompany her path, vibrates the ancient fire of Sicily — a volcanic glow that can never be tamed. Despite all paradoxes, working with her has been the greatest blessing: she was not merely the subject, but the very inspiration behind every single brushstroke.
