100% Verdicchio. An exclusive Riserva with body and soul.
From the finest and oldest vineyards in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi zone in Marche, Conti di Buscareto creates this exceptional Verdicchio Riserva DOCG. The name “Ammazzaconte” (the count killer) speaks to a wine packed with power, character, and unrivaled elegance. The grapes are intentionally harvested slightly late to achieve maximum aromatic concentration and complexity.
Complex Aging and Great Structure
Ammazzaconte sets itself apart through its uncompromising production. Following a strict selection of the grapes, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation. To give the wine its signature depth, creamy texture, and long aging potential, it is aged for over a year on its fine lees (sur lie) in both stainless steel tanks and a portion in oak barrels. The wine then matures further in the bottle before release. This process perfectly integrates the acidity and develops a rare complexity, making the wine exceptionally worthy of aging.
