A rare gem from the heart of Marche Conti di Buscareto Rosé Spumante is a brilliant testament to how tradition and innovation can seamlessly merge. The wine is crafted from 100% Lacrima (Lacrima di Morro d’Alba), a rare and extremely aromatic grape variety grown almost exclusively in the province of Ancona, Marche. Thanks to the clay- and limestone-rich soil and precise temperature control, Conti di Buscareto manages to capture the grape’s explosive and perfumed floral character in this sparkling expression.
The Charmat Method: Preserving Fine Aromas
Following a gentle harvest and a very short skin maceration to extract its delicate, light pink color, the must ferments at low temperatures. The secondary fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled pressurized tanks (Charmat method). This process is carefully monitored to keep the primary, floral aromas intact while creating a creamy and pleasant mousse (perlage). As a “Brut”, the wine presents itself wonderfully dry, crisp, and with fantastic balance.
