100% Verdicchio. Authentic white winemaking art from the heart of Marche.
From the sunny, chalky slopes in the province of Ancona in the Marche region, Conti di Buscareto delivers this classic interpretation of perhaps Italy’s finest white wine grape. This Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico is crafted with deep respect for the area’s unique terroir, where cool breezes from the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines meet, ensuring a slow ripening of the grapes and an unrivaled freshness.
Focus on Purity, Minerality, and Balance
Following a careful and gentle harvest, the grapes are softly pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape’s natural fruitiness, crispness, and the characteristic mineral drive for which Verdicchio is so famous. The wine then ages on its fine lees (sur lie) in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling, adding wonderful structure, depth, and a rounder mouthfeel—completely without the use of oak barrels. The result is an exceptionally pure, harmonious, and vibrant white wine.
