A Tuscan Legend with Authentic Roots
From the sunny, high-altitude, south-west facing slopes of Montalcino comes this phenomenal Brunello di Montalcinofrom Podere Giardino—the Tuscan gem crafted with uncompromising passion and dedication. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (locally known as Brunello), hand-harvested from old, low-yielding vines. The soil—rich in limestone, clay, and schist (galestro)—gives the grapes a truly unique concentration, vibrant acidity, and a deep, mineral backbone.
Years of Patient Barrel Aging in Historic Cellars
A true Brunello isn’t created overnight. At Podere Giardino, the strictly traditional production rules of the DOCG appellation are faithfully followed. After a long, temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration to extract maximum color and dense tannins, the wine ages for at least 24–36 months in large, traditional Slavonian oak casks and French barriques. It then rests for several months in the bottle within dark cellars before release. This patient process tames the wildness of Sangiovese, transforming it into pure, liquid elegance.
