A White Wine Gem from the Heart of Montalcino
Although Montalcino is world-famous for its monumental red wines, the region conceals a true white wine gem under the exclusive Sant’Antimo DOC appellation. From the dedicated and independent winery Podere Giardino comes this crystal-clear and incredibly inviting Trebbiano. Named after the famous, beautiful historic abbey in the area, the Sant’Antimo appellation allows producers to craft top-tier white wines from the absolute best plots in the region. This yields a Trebbiano with far more depth, character, and class than a traditional regional white wine.
Pure Stainless Steel Vinification for Ultimate Precision
At Podere Giardino, the grapes are handled with the utmost care to protect the delicate, complex aromatic profile contributed by the unique terroir. Following a meticulous harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments under strict temperature control exclusively in stainless steel tanks. The wine deliberately never sees oak—ensuring it retains its completely pure, unspoiled fruit character and vibrant, mineral acidity that makes it so wonderfully refreshing and elegant.
