A Rosé Full of Character with the Soul of Radda in Chianti
Who says Sangiovese is only meant for bold red wines? With “Aurora”, Poggerino shows how this grape can be transformed into one of Tuscany’s most elegant and characterful rosé wines. The grapes are strictly organically farmed in the cool, high-altitude vineyards of Radda, ensuring the wine retains fantastic natural acidity, energy, and vibrancy.
Gentle Pressing and a Focus on Freshness
Following an early, painstaking manual harvest, the grapes undergo a very gentle pressing. The juice receives a short cold maceration to extract just the right delicate color and fine aromas. Fermentation and aging take place exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the clean, crisp fruit character and intense minerality that comes straight from the rocky galestro soil.
