Craftsmanship and Tuscan Soul from Radda in Chianti
From the high-altitude, stony vineyards of Radda in Chianti, Poggerino presents a true rarity: a sparkling wine made entirely from Tuscany’s king grape, Sangiovese (Blanc de Noirs / Rosé de Noirs). Poggerino is renowned for its uncompromising organic approach, and this Spumante is no exception. The grapes are harvested early to preserve a crisp, intense acidity, which forms the foundation of the wine’s immense elegance.
Metodo Classico: Long Aging with Zero Added Sugar
The wine is crafted using the traditional Metodo Classico (Champagne method), where the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. After spending at least 24–36 months aging on the lees, the wine is disgorged as a Brut Nature (also known as Pas Dosé or Zero Dosage). This means absolutely no sugar is added during dosage. The result is a transparent, pure, and bone-dry sparkling wine that speaks directly of quality and terroir.
