Sicilian Sunshine and Organic Elegance
“Gaia” Pinot Grigio showcases a completely new and exciting side of this popular grape variety. At Romano Vini, the vineyards in northwestern Sicily are cultivated with deep respect for nature and according to certified organic principles. The warm Mediterranean climate, combined with cool night breezes, allows the Pinot Grigio grapes to achieve optimal ripeness. The result is a white wine that combines the grape’s classic freshness with Sicily’s unmistakable warmth and fruity richness.
Pure Steel Vinification for Maximum Fruit Character
To preserve the pure, direct, and crisp fruit character, the grapes are harvested gently and quickly transported to the winery. Here, they undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in modern stainless steel tanks. The wine is subsequently aged exclusively in steel prior to bottling. This method ensures the wine remains completely pure, juicy, and un-oaked, allowing the intense primary fruit aromas to shine in the glass.
