The Sicilian Soul in Organic Balance
“PrimeLuci” represents the first sunbeams awakening Romano Vini’s organic vineyards in Sicily. The Nero d’Avola grape is the island’s true ambassador, and in this release, it displays its most inviting and juicy side. The warm Mediterranean climate and limestone-rich soil allow the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness, resulting in a red wine with a fine natural fruit sweetness, silky-soft tannins, and a pleasant freshness.
Modern Vinification Focusing on Pure Fruit
To preserve the Nero d’Avola grape’s characteristic and beloved fruit profile, Romano Vini chooses to ferment and age the wine exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. By foregoing oak aging, heavy oak notes are avoided, letting the wine’s juicy primary aromas of fresh berries shine clearly in the glass. This produces an exceptionally honest, pure, and palate-cleansing red wine.
