Historic Elegance and Informal Drinking Pleasure from Talosa
Where its famous big brother, Vino Nobile, demands patience and long aging, the Rosso di Montepulciano from Fattoria della Talosa is crafted to be enjoyed young, while the fruit is at its absolute peak. Talosa, renowned for its historic 16th-century cellars in the ancient town center of Montepulciano, captures the fresh and direct side of the Tuscan terroir in this bottling.
Focus on Pure Fruit and Balance
The wine is primarily based on Prugnolo Gentile (the local name for the Sangiovese grape), supplemented with a touch of Merlot and Canaiolo for extra roundness. Following a careful harvest, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation. To preserve the wine’s crispness, juiciness, and charming fruit character, it is aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks and large neutral wooden casks. The result is a harmonious and mouthwatering red wine where the grapes’ natural freshness remains center stage.
